Our first night at Rocky Gap
We're having a wonderful time getting to know each other at Rocky Gap. We started by taking two buses from Baltimore to Cumberland. We have students from all over the world! The U.S., Norway, Italy, Barbados, Dominican Republic, China, South America - Ecuador, Colombia, the Middle East, Africa - Ethiopia, Zambia, South Africa, Puerto Rico, India -- and we've learned that people have traveled all over the world: Australia, Europe, all of the U.S., and more! PROMISE Community Building - A Place for Graduate Students.
PROMISE: Maryland's Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP) seeks to increase the numbers and diversity of Ph.D.s in the STEM fields by building community and supporting graduate students from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines. Here, we salute the spirit of PROMISE!
