My Status

Well, my dissertation proposal defense is June 2nd. I have to get the hard copies of my proposal to my committee members in just 1 1/2 weeks. I'm a little panicky, but I have a good adviser and I know that I'll make it. I should take Dr. Carter's suggestion and plan a "treat" for myself after I finish my proposal and after I defend. In June, I'll be applying for a doctoral symposium at the ESEM '09 conference to be held in October. I may also be submitting a short paper or poster on the topic of my dissertation methodology (I think I've really nailed an interesting methodology!). So, July is really the time that I'll get to breathe much easier. Then my pilot study starts!
